Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using PropertyLive ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. These terms apply to all users including property seekers, agents, landlords, and service providers.
2. Account Registration
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
- You must provide accurate and complete registration information
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- You must not share your account with others or create multiple accounts
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
3. Property Listings
Listing Requirements
- All property information must be accurate and truthful
- Images must be genuine photographs of the listed property
- Pricing must reflect the actual asking price or rental amount
- Listings must comply with Zimbabwean property laws and regulations
- You must have legal authority to list the property (owner, authorized agent, or landlord)
Prohibited Listings
- Fraudulent or misleading property descriptions
- Properties you do not have authority to sell or rent
- Duplicate listings for the same property
- Content that violates any applicable law
4. Service Marketplace
For Service Providers
- You must accurately represent your qualifications and capabilities
- Quotations must be provided in good faith with realistic pricing
- You must complete accepted work to the standard described in the quotation
- You must respond to service requests within a reasonable timeframe
For Customers
- Service requests must accurately describe the work required
- You must provide safe and reasonable access to your property when required
- Payment must be made according to the agreed terms
- Disputes must be raised through our dispute resolution system
5. Payments
- Payments are processed through PayNow and supported mobile money platforms (EcoCash, OneMoney)
- Listing fees are charged upon property submission and are non-refundable once the listing is published
- Service deposits are held in escrow until work is verified as complete
- Final payments are released to service providers after customer confirmation or after the auto-release period (3 business days)
- All prices are displayed in the currency specified (USD, ZWL, or ZAR)
- PropertyLive charges a platform fee on service transactions as disclosed at the time of booking
6. Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises between a customer and service provider:
- Either party may raise a dispute through the platform within 48 hours of job completion
- Both parties will be notified and given opportunity to respond
- PropertyLive will review the evidence and mediate a resolution
- Escrowed funds will be held until the dispute is resolved
- PropertyLive's decision on disputes is final
7. Intellectual Property
The PropertyLive platform, including its design, features, and content, is owned by PropertyLive. Users retain ownership of content they upload (images, descriptions) but grant PropertyLive a non-exclusive license to display this content on the platform for the purpose of providing our services.
8. Limitation of Liability
- PropertyLive is a marketplace platform connecting users. We do not own, manage, or inspect listed properties.
- We do not guarantee the accuracy of property listings or user-provided information.
- We are not responsible for the quality of work performed by service providers.
- We are not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.
- Users are responsible for conducting their own due diligence before entering into any transaction.
9. Account Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, receive multiple verified complaints, or fail to respond to disputes. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting our support team.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Zimbabwe. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Zimbabwe.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
